Johann Seif, Global Executive Vice President Supply Chain Management at Henkel, presented his CrowdWorx project at the Barcelona Demand & Capacity Planning Conference 2011. The project, which was launched at Henkel in 2009, achieved a 22% increase in forecasting accuracy of the S & OP process during its pilot phase.
The success of the pilot stage will result in the roll out of CrowdWorx to Henkel’s S & OP process in its major European markets in 2012. We’re excited about this opportunity to optimize the supply chain for Europe’s leading consumer goods and FMCG manufacturer and will report on the learnings from the roll-out soon.
